Hakumei and Mikochi
This slice-of-life series has a decent amount of meat to it thanks to its fantasy setting with little people and the anthropomorphized animals they often interact with. This gives Hakumei and Mikochi a solid foundation for exploring its world and characters, which get explored in 2 to 3 segment episodes to varying degrees with our two lead characters and the regular occupants of their forest home. Bits of series lore also get dabbled into for the ending sequences of each episode, which is unique for the ED of the series in that it could keep a fan from skipping through it after seeing it the first time. In addition, the visuals for this are quite pleasing on the eyes with its scenery and properly scaling the sizes of the little people and various animals encountered throughout Hakumei and Mikochi. Only issue with this is that like many slice-of-life titles, developments within this series are minimum at best and the mundane mood for something in a fantasy-based setting is likely not to be everyone's cup of tea. But if slice-of-life titles with a little more depth to them are your cup of tea, Hakumei and Mikochi may be worth checking out.
