(Two episodes watched): The first thing to catch my eye about this show was the crisp, sharp, highly detailed, high quality drawing style, which I appreciate. Another thing that occurred to me before long was that this show seemed to really be telling a serious and engaging story, which is something many anime cannot honestly claim. It sort of feels like a murder mystery, though nobody has been killed at the start. The only action in episode one comes while the ship is in warp, which renders humans defenseless (but why not just coast until the Gnosia has been identified?). We get to know Setsu, SQ, Racio and Jina, and, like them, can guess who is actually a Gnosia infectee. It seemed to me that Yuri would have been chosen long ago—Setsu, who briefs him on the situation, is the only one who trusts him at all. Something strange happens to main character Yuri near the end (“Now you have the power to transcend death!”) It looks like the characters have made all the wrong choices, but did everything just reset? Judging from the OP and ED sequences, there seems to be a wide cast of characters that we haven't met yet (maybe people who had already been put into cold sleep before Yuri awoke in this first scenario?). I don't fully understand what just happened, but this show strikes me as pretty cool, and I'll probably be watching it to the end. In episode two Yuri finds that things have reset—but he remembers what happened during episode one. He initially assumes that the person who is actually the Gnosia will be the same one, but it turns out that that is not necessarily true. I didn't completely get this; even if anything can happen, a different Gnosia would be pure (and fantastically unlikely) coincidence, wouldn't it? Wouldn't it be infinitely more likely for no Gnosia at all show up? It seems time resets to the point just before the Gnosia intruder decides who it will take control of.
