OH yea I love the Rave and have watched it since it started on cartoon network. Believe it or not I even get cranky if they decide to have something else on in its place. This happened last weekend but then I found out it was on Sunday morning at 7:00 A.M. instead of Saturday evening. I love the characters and the story. Watch it and enjoy. they just ended the one series a couple of Sundays ago. Ellie found out where she may have come from and everyone came to her aid to protect her. Haru is still looking for the rave stones and that is how they end that episode.

I personally LOVE Haru's sword, Musica's silver claiming techinques and ELIE's tonfa blasters. But that's just me. Most of the art work was just wonderful. And the characters are some of the most bazaar I've ever seen, though I love it and think it quite adorable and funny. And I love the music too, the Jpop beat of Butterfly Kiss and Higher and Higher are very catchy and upbeat, while the ending songs Kohaku no Yurikago and Hikousen are softer and more relaxed, and I can name anime for hours that have songs that have a LOT of English words and I have yet to see people bad mouth those (and I'm not saying that those DESERVE bad mouthing cause I love those too). Okay now for it's faults. I was rather confused at first seeing as they practically skip the first volume of the manga, but they later make it up with flashbacks, other than that it follows the manga fairly closely. There's absolutly NO blood as many have already said, even though it's manga has plenty of it. And for someone who watched it right after reading the X manga it simply sucked, if they can curse (at least in the Japanese version) they can show blood in my opinion. And when the DO bleed, they bleed motor oil, which I find quite annoying. And the thing that probably annoys me the most is the ending. WAY too open. They end it in mid series and have yet to see a second half in exsistance. So all in all. It's fun, happy (and EXTREAMLY sad sometimes) and I LIKE it and think GREAT addition to any collection. Comic and anime are both cool but the story is a bit different and no blood comes out(anime) if the blood it would be black. I find Raves anime quit cool also the comic. some bits are boring in the anime cause I have the comic and I know what is going to happen next. When i told my friends about Rave the first question was why is Elie's breasts big? all i said was dunno but rave is the best comic and anime!

Rave IS always been the best for me.. I liked it when HARU saw ELIE's WHITE panty in the Casino while lookin for Plue.. Then, When Haru found out that ELIE has Plue into the dog race!! Anyone who saw the LAST episode? I wanna know.. I liked it when someone told me!!

The artwork is wonderful!!! I like the story and the way they drew Plue and the voice. I would recommend this for children and its not hentai! Its comedy with adventures and sometimes...there's a tint of romance there. I just have to say it's on of the best!

I've watched the show up to the tenth episode. I agree with some of the previous comments as to the slow paced plot. However, the main problem I have with the series is simply it doesn't stand out. At all. Varied use of English (for no apparent reason), highly unrealistic fights, pitifully stereotypical design, and finally, a lackluster story, slow or not. Hmmm... maybe I'm being too harsh. Simply put, ignore my opinion, watch the show, remember it is seriously designed for children (seriously), decide for yourself whether my opinion is valid. Ah almost forgot. The weapons suck, especially for the enemies. Oh, and in episode 5, adding a "strong core" actually makes a blade more prone to chip and crack, you insert a soft core, to allow the blade to bend (something a sword of that size would NOT do very well). Weird creatures, a spiky-haired, sword-wielding hero traveling with a couple of other people each with a quest- one a cool guy and the other a girl in a short skirt. Sound familiar? Stereotypical. Ick. And the first opening theme was okay then they have to change it to something that sucks. Anyway, the story develops ever so slowly, then suddenly a bit quicker. Improvement? Nah. It just isn't consistent. You get confused at some point, too. And I'm guessing that if you use a lot of English words in Japan, you're considered cool. I mean, have you heard a Jpop song lately? Er... ignore that.

The first two episodes was quite fuuny and the art work was wonderful. But the story proceeds really slowly.Also there were no blood whatsoever(no matter how hard the characters fight). It's like an anime made for young children to watch! The most interesting thing about it is that it has lots of strange creatures in it, which I found was rather sweet.
