Episode one is pretty much about Sarasa's past and how she came to be in charge of this run-down alchemist's shop. Based on the OP sequence, it looks like she will assemble a party of female adventurers. Unfortunately, nothing really stood out to me as unusual or noteworthy about this show. As usual, the main character has extraordinary abilities ("What amazing talent!" Ophelia's aid Maria exclaims at one point), which means she can leap right into remarkable feats of alchemy. I think it was not an accident that my favorite Isekai series, Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash was about characters who had mediocre talents at best. Sarasa's personality seems to consist of her being the hardest of the hard workers, having no friends or family, and having a difficult task to perform. As I have said before, the big test of the first episode of a new series is whether it leaves the viewer with any questions they want answers to, and I can't really think of any major ones. I am a little curious how Sarasa will make her shop work, so maybe I will watch some more, especially if there are not all that many good anime this season. Refurbishing the run-down building Sarasa has been given title to doesn't turn out to be all that much of a problem, not when her new neighbors generously contribute. But that was not exciting at all and the jokes in this show do not make me laugh at all. I don't really have any sense where this show is going, except that it looks like an all female adventuring party will assemble. But I do not really care and I think I will quit watching. It is too generic, the characters are simple, and the only semi-unusual feature (Sarasa needing to get an apothecary up and running) doesn't seem to be emphasized.
