Tabisuru Nuigurumi: Traveling Daru
This animated short tells a simple story of a stuffed toy named Daru trying to reunite with its owner and time progressing as the owner grows into adulthood while Daru tries finding her. Ten minutes is more than enough time for this film's tale to be told as perspective switched between Daru and its owner, with the owner shown to have clear sentimentality out of her toy's loss from making it herself as a child. Also as a unique element, the short is mostly visual in its storytelling as it mostly lacks any dialogue save for some at the end of it. Overall, Traveling Daru's solid viewing for family audiences with its simple storytelling and focus on sentimentality with Daru and its human owner.
