Isekai Quartet

Basically, superdeformed versions of the cast members of four different shows (all made by the same company, I would guess) come together and screw around in a comedy spinoff. In the past a number of these omake spinoffs have been made, but as far as I know only now have more than one show been combined. The problem is that I never found them to be particularly good even when just one show was involved. They are basically comedy skits that use the casts of more-or-less serious shows (though KonoSuba was primarily a comedy), and for some reason that format didn't work very well with me. My impression when I watched some that were based on Overlord was that they weren't particularly funny, and were just trying to squeeze a few more yen out of a popular show without doing much more than parading these SD versions of the casts before us. I think I quit after watching two or three, and didn't bother to create a page here to review them. In the case of Isekai Quartet, it seemed that the different casts just make small talk without doing much of anything. It's weird, but is it funny? Not really. Maybe others will find this more amusing than I did, but while watching I felt sort of annoyed by the confusion and lack of a plot, and was impatient for it all to end.
