This appears to be an experimental short created by Akira director Katsuhiro Otomo with help from Studio 4C and is certainly on the surreal side in its brief depiction of a man spaced out in his inner world. Drawings of the man in question are depicted mixed in with live-action shots going by in quick motion, seemingly to depict the man's disconnection from his surroundings until another spaced out man enters to join him. Not sure what to think of this one personally, though it's not the first surreal short I've seen come from Studio 4C. Is at least worth a watch if arthouse shorts catch your interest.
