Banjo Tylor is a distant descendant of the famous captain Justy Tylor, though you wouldn't know it as he works collecting garbage along with his robot assistant, Yamamoto. One day, the two of them come upon a wrecked spaceship that contains in suspended animation Princess Goza the 168th, a long missing ruler of Justy's time.

(Two episodes watched):

I was intrigued when, out of nowhere, an anime with obvious ties to the semi-classic Irresponsible Captain Tylor turned up. After all these years, was it a remake? But no, my hopes were rapidly deflated as it became clear that this was a spinoff/sequel which wouldn't include the same cast of characters, and would be composed of nothing more than one-and-a-half minute episodes to boot. It doesn't seem to have anything like the sophistication of the old ICT; it almost feels like a children's show. I doubt if there will be any subtheme of 'is this guy secretly brilliant or just incredibly lucky' or anything like that. Please don't raise my hopes so much when you don't actually have much to offer.
