This anime sort of reminds me of Seitokai Yakuindomo, in that both go into the ugly, vulgar side of sexuality (stuff like genital hygiene, etc), although this show thankfully doesn't go nearly as far as SY did. Every now and then a question which is important to teens (like 'do girls with big breasts likewise have big tits?') is put forward and the girls discuss it. The fact that Ojou has some not terribly attractive but nice girls as friends, rather than hanging around with other girls of her own sort, makes her likeable. I recall that initially the humor was OK, so I kept watching (if I had had strong feelings one way or the other, this review would have been longer). Eh, but the originality soon wears off and once that happens the humor isn't really all that funny ('smile' jokes rather than laugh ones), and you can't help noticing that the show clearly appeals to rather base instincts. It is kind of gross at times. I came to wonder if it was really worth the trouble of watching, much less converting to DVD format. It seems to me that this has the usual anime comedy problem: the jokes aren't funny enough to make the show worth watching all by themselves, and there's no real plot to give us anything else of interest. Nevertheless, I notice that this show got pretty good ratings from viewers at ANN.
