This continuation of Aria explores what life is like for Akari and the other gondoliers following the events of Aria the Origination with the three main gondolier businesses in the series each having new Pairs. While Ai was already established from being Akari's pen pal for the earlier seasons of the series, the two new Pairs introduced don't get much fleshing out since this series was more focused on reflection of past events by the older characters in the series that include seeing how Alicia and Akari met one another for the first time. The series retains what made Aria one of the better slice-of-life anime titles made in recent years with its gorgeous scenic shots, endearing characters, and gentle mood. A definite treat for Aria franchise fans.
