Zero no Tsukaima" so loudly that I didn't even try watching one episode.

The synopsis screamed "||||||||
Unevaluated | Stretch | [series:2881#628] | ||||||
It's hard to see Dragonar going anywhere worth watching; the plot is pretty simple and the characters as well. The protagonist, Ash Blake, is hot tempered, and has something unusual about his dragon minding abilities, but you now know pretty much as much about him as I did after watching an entire episode. Yet another magical academy; I can't help suspecting that this will be just another attempt to get rich quick by slapping together a magic-themed anime, with plentiful fanservice in case that doesn't work. The illustration above, and in particular the girls with breasts larger than their heads, suggests how this show expects to entertain its viewers. There are a couple of pretty suggestive, ecchi scenes. Yet the ED sequence suggested that the drama shouldn't be taken seriously and that this would be mainly a comedy show. But Dragonar wasn't funny at all, and the plot doesn't seem very deep. At the end, I couldn't believe that the explanations to a couple of questions about Ash would be worth the trouble of wading through the boring and stereotypical stuff that would be necessary. I don't actively hate this show, but I don't like it either; it just seems too generic. Last updated Thursday, April 10 2014. Created Thursday, April 10 2014. |
