In spite of the visuals getting a slight upgrade from the OVA series with more detail in scenic shots and character designs looking better, Tamayura: Hitotse plays out no differently from Tamayura with its focus on slice-of-life, while attempting heavily to try making its mundane moments seem very poignant and memorable as Aria the Animation yet without the meaningful life lessons and mold-breaking elements that made Aria one of the better slice-of-life offerings I loved. Again, this baby's only worthwhile if moe slice-of-life titles catch your interest.
