This sequel takes place right after season one ends with Kazuto and Valkyrie in the same situation. This time around, the series introduces a new princess and a person called 'Valkyrie Ghost'. It delves into the past of Valhalla and how the kingdoms were established. This certainly is a much more involved than the last season even though it's pretty much and introduction for the series. It doesn't take a very serious turn which keeps the humor level pretty much the same if not a little more funnier than season one. No major art/animation changes in this season but the story is now focused off trying to figure out how to turn Valkyrie back to an adult. It's now focused on Valkyrie Ghost, a person who looks almost exactly like Valkyrie herself but decked out in black. Out of entire Valkyrie series, this season is my overall favorite. Reason why is because it's well sectioned off. Not a lot of filler episodes so it stays close to the story. What stands out is the main plot which is basically Valkyrie Ghost wants Kazuto and the rest of the gang has to find out who she is and why she wants Kazuto. Along the way, a new princess shows up, a giant version of Spot appears, and Akina and Hydra are still at each others throats amongst other things.
