I don't think it gets any worse than this.

Pachinko is so "shady," many anime companies use pachinko machines for promotional purposes. Heck, before the recent live-action Space Battleship Yamato movie was made, CGI scenes were made for a pachinko machine with a Space Battleship Yamato II theme. A lot of money was spent on those scenes, which looked freaking awesome.

I can't say much about those infernal Pachinko machines, but I can say them buying out AIC doesn't sit well with me.
