Having Gennosuke and Sena in the club was a plus for me, showing that the events of episode 12b weren't just random fillers but actually the start into a new <small>(and hopefully better)</small> arc of the story, a bit closer to [series:142] territory now.

I agree. The best move this show could have possibly made was to dump the annoying Kirino, who was a liablity rather than an asset right from the start. Now that she is gone, this episode was great fun for me. I think Kuroneko has always been my favorite character, and I am eager to see where she will go. The point at which she accuses Kyousuke of wanting to treat her as a new little sister was especially telling; she was probably right, to a certain extent.
