Synopsis
After an argument between Momo and Touji in his hospital room, the two have broken up. Sae is delighted, and spreads her version of what happened around the classroom. Though Momo doesn't want to serve her cruel and judgemental classmates, Sae nominates her as the class representative in a swimming competition, and she has no choice but to accept. At practice Kairi (who refused to cooperate with Sae) says he's just hanging around to see girls in swimsuits, but Momo guesses he has actually come to check up on her. She realizes that there's no need to avoid a suntan now. An old friend admits that she invented the story about Touji not liking suntanned girls, because she liked him too. Momo realizes that she still loves Touji, but figures it's too late too make up. Sae, meanwhile, realizes that Momo's skill as a swimmer may well earn first prize for the class, resulting in a revival of her popularity. Therefore, she arranges to sabotage her efforts...
