Synopsis
SPOILER: Kurumi finds Nakahito at a deserted quarry, and is confronted by his captor, Steel Angel Kaga, plus the angels Kaori and Tsunami. They demand that she come with them, and when she refuses they vow to destroy her. Kurumi is getting beaten senseless when Saki appears. When Nakahito is injured she becomes enraged and projects an awesome energy beam from her fist, driving off the three opponents. They report to "Dr. Walski" (formerly Dr. Brandow) who decides to activate yet another Angel in order to deal with Kurumi's new power. As usual, Kichijoji and Koganei were watching the fight from a hiding place. Nakahito is ashamed of himself for being unable to help Kurumi.
Comments
The length of this synopsis, compared to the relatively brief one for episode 9, gives you a hint of how tricky it must be to package action in 15 minute segments. Kaga, Kaori and Tsunami say some intriguing things to Kurumi: "Atone for the sin of becoming soiled by worldly things!" and "How could you have forgotten the true duty of a Steel Angel?". I love the way Kurumi replies to them. Also, am I crazy, or is Dr. Walski's hideout a huge fortress floating in the sky?
