| Beware of spoilers! Stretch: Does Ganossa intend to use the Cyclotron to reopen the doorway between Earth and Nemesis? Which would presumably set off a second cataclysm? What sort of "deal" could he propose which Rally would even consider agreeing to? Somehow seeing the red-haired Katsumi dressed in her Ganossa-like cape almost made me laugh. Even if she has given in to hatred, wouldn't the people the hates above all others be Ganossa and the Hawks? I guess Medium has completely possessed her, to the extent that she isn't doing any thinking of her own anymore, which is kind of disappointing. I was left with the feeling that nothing really thrilling or startling had happened in this episode. AMP is spared, but since Rally had the resources to take control of the entire Police Department, it's like it was never really in danger to begin with. Seeing Toru was nice, however. Devil Doll: Last opportunity for betting on who'll become the hero of this show! Rally's stunt to protect the AMP cost her a lot of time, one more piece in the puzzle to overload the AMP's resources - it's not like the LH were sitting on their hands in the meantime. (In the manga, Ganossa was the one pulling the strings in this aspect as well; I like the anime version better as the development has been prepared credibly without having that same opponent everywhere.) Where episode 22 gave us answers, this one provides new questions. What exactly did Lum Cheng mean by "I have to do it"? Actually a lot of things have happened in this episode, some of which the audience just isn't supposed to understand when merely watching it once in real time. Let's just say the LH didn't change their strategy... Which deal can Ganossa offer to Rally? Well... what is Rally's weak spot? Remember episode 23 of Shin Seiki Evangelion, the episode of Asuka's mind rape? It flooded the audience with images, making it necessary to watch it in single step mode to get every last detail of the message. Silent Möbius does the same thing now (again an "episode 23"), - but which one is for real? The keyword for the final arc is "parallel developments"; this game is getting ever more complex now, and there are still too many pieces on this chessboard to get it to the ↗endgame...
