| Spoilers ahead - beware! - - - - - - - - - - - A huge scientific experiment is about to fail. High mage Gigelf Liqueur and computer expert Stefan Maverick try to abort 'Projecto Gaia' and close the Nemesis door, but the catastrophe can't be stopped ... 20 Years later, we see the AMP at work. Kiddy Phenyl is not very polite to policeman Ralph Bowmers when inspecting the scene of crime - which is rather bloody; looks like a 'case of 3rd attraction', and indeed the Lucifer Hawk is about to return soon, and not going to be friendly ... AMP Chief Rally Cheyenne and AMP's second in command, Mana Isozaki, try to let AMP become an official police department, while the other police departments (under industrial sponsorship) don't even like the idea ... Katsumi Liqueur, office worker from Hawaii, is about to arrive at Tokyo via plane; Rally has told her she has new information about the death of Katsumi's mother three years ago. Katsumi's father died before she was even born. Back to the scene where the AMP is fighting the Lucifer Hawk of 'category 2': Both parties sense a huge power approaching; the LH2 aborts the battle, and Rally orders the girls to go, find and protect Katsumi ... Katsumi's plane crashes, after some strange being damaged one wing. Katsumi survives without a scratch and soon finds herself talking to the LH2, who commands her to "open the door". When she faints, the AMP steps in and buys time, but cannot actually stop this LH2 ... Katsumi dreams of her mother telling her to "let me go and stand on your own feet - your dagger will protect you" ... Katsumi awakes when the AMP just has been knocked out, and suddenly remembers a powerful spell - pointing her dagger at the LH2 ... The AMP welcome Katsumi in Japan - and Rally invites her to fight on their side. | |
