Title:City Hunter
Episode:69: The Applicant Wants To Be A Traditional Japanese Woman?! Mokkori Can Overcome National Boundaries (part 2)
Synopsis
The revolution has broken out in the Pamela Republic, General Jimetil has fled the country, and Misa's father has been named as the head of the new government. Jimetil, however, has not given up; he flies to Japan, supposedly in search of sanctuary, but before landing drops his elite paratroopers with the mission of capturing Misa as a hostage. Posing as repairmen, the soldiers surround Ryo and Kaori's building, direct traffic away, and cut the phone lines. Saeko realizes what is happening, and arrives with help. But while Ryo, Kaori and Misa are rescued, Saeko is thrown from their shot-up car and captured by Jimetil's men. Ryo vows to recover her, and Kaori volunteers to pose as Misa for a prisoner exchange--but Misa won't hear of it. Meanwhile, Saeko has managed to escape on her own--or at least she thought she had escaped, until she finds that her prison is in an unusual place...

Forbin hates clones, and I hate you-can't-hit-me-no-matter-how-many-bullets-you-shoot action scenes (obviously you don't have to be able to hit the broad side of a barn to qualify as a paratrooper in the Pamela Republic!). Seriously, using a little cleverness to overcome one or two serious opponents would be infinitely more entertaining than defeating a small army of incompetents. Fortunately, enough silliness was retained in this episode to make such sins forgiveable. My grade: B-
