| Sasshi and Arumi play virtually no part in this episode, which takes us back to the days when the Abenobashi Arcade was being designed (instead of the usual space shuttle we see Sputnik in orbit at the beginning, which would make this 1957, but there's also a reference to a movie that came out in 1959). |

| Is this really a flashback to events before the kids were born, or another parallel world? Mune-Mune appears as an 18 year old schoolgirl who Arumi's grandfather once knew, and the architect Mr. Abe seems like a prototype for Eutus. Only time (more episodes) will tell. Otherwise, a touching look at the aspirations of various characters long ago. |
