Synopsis
Japanese Title: Kinka no Hakobikata Oshiemasu Lupin is pining over Fujiko when she shows up on the scene with a mysterious man. He wants to hire Lupin and company to steal all of the gold from a Swiss bank. The vault where the gold is kept is supposedly very secure, but Lupin doesn't see a problem in getting in and getting the gold out. The plan goes off without a hitch but now what to do with all this gold? How do you get that many gold bars out of the country? You melt it down and cast it as the shell of a small transport truck!

This was an interesting episode, even if predictable. I liked watching Lupin in action doing what he does best -- theiving. It has a Scooby Doo feeling at the end, but otherwise, an enjoyable romp. Stretch 5/23/04: I think the idea of a truck made of gold was ripped off from the Speed Racer episode "The Race Against the Mammoth Car". Of course that was probably a ripoff of the James Bond movie, "Goldfinger".
