We meet Kiri in episode 19. Like the series as a whole, it was exciting but confusing; wasn't it obvious that this gigantic device that the Spearhead team initially attacked wasn't the same Morpho as we (and one would think they) had been shown in the mission briefing? Has Kiri already heard of Shin and his comrades from somewhere--like, is what the Legion learns on the San Magnolia front automatically shared with the Giad one as well? Kiri and Shin seem to go berserk and want to duel each other. But we have barely met Kiri, he's basically little more than a duplicate of Shin's brother from season one, so it was hard to get enthused. I thought for awhile that just the five ex-Spearhead pilots were carrying this mission out, but no, the rest of the Nordricht squadron shows up--and a certain stowaway as well. Though the highly fluid animated action was fun, rather than sense a plan behind this plot I was left thinking 'where is this going'?
