Episode 18.5 is a recap which summarizes the events of the first half of season two. While I again got the impression that 86 was sort of full of itself, the episode has some value in that it reminds us of a couple of important points. For one, it was the now overthrown Giad empire (of which Frederica seems to be the only remaining member who is not dead or in exile) that created the Legion. Apparently after the monarchy was overthrown the Legion decided to continue fighting for its own purposes--'apparently', because it isn't made clear. Are there any humans within the Legion, or is it entirely composed of zombie robots? Does every one of them have the salvaged brain of a human? Again, it isn't made clear. Another important point is that Frederica's associate, 'Kiri' (IIRC), is now the brain of a Legion mecha, and seems to be in command of Morpho.
