| I liked Washu better in the OVAs--she was brilliant, eccentric, assertive, but not "mad". I don't think that Washu would have turned anyone into a frog(?) just for offending her--she'd have uttered a clever wisecrack instead. Oh well... Still, this episode was clearly more amusing than the last one. I just can't shake the feeling that it's a travesty of the superb OVAs to use elements of their plots (demon/goblin magically imprisoned at shrine...) to make a "dumbed down" version. | |
