Synopsis
Misaki Fujima, director of Kirino's modeling company, wants the girl to work as their exclusive model in Europe. In order to turn her down, Kirino forces Kyosuke to pretend being her boyfriend, which turns out to include a date between these two where they run into all kinds of people who already know them as siblings.

Devil Doll: The battle begins. Good heavens, what a rollercoaster! I was close to aborting this episode after 5 minutes and had to force myself through this garbage about the fake date (albeit Manami's reaction was great). Why didn't the 14-year-old Kirino just tell the director that her parents wouldn't allow her to quit school and go overseas? I hate stories based on an obvious lie and with protagonists performing dilettantish while trying to hide something. But from the very moment when Kuroneko entered the stage suddenly all the pieces fell into their places and everything began to make sense: This is the wake-up call for Kuroneko, and she won't give up the boy she kissed already and whom she "likes as much as Kirino does" (as she told Kyousuke when she was in his room a few episodes before) without a fight, starting by purchasing the "Shironeko dress" for the Comiket event. Ending with Kirino warily eying Kyousuke's joy about the sold-out manga and then another cliffhanger on top, this was one of the stronger episodes, regardless how painful the beginning was for me. The core theme of this season has begun!
