Stretch: Episode twelve marks the end of the first season. A major character buys the farm, and it must be a credit to this show that I felt that it might just be Yuno herself. As usual, things happen which are hard to believe (Yukki takes down a SWAT team member?); this show seems to be designed for viewers who don't know much and believe whatever they are told without a second thought. But it did get exciting, and left me eager to see where the story would go next. I'll never understand why Uryu doesn't kill Yukki whenever she gets the chance, since he was the one who blinded her in one eye after all. Instead, they seem to be acting as allies, although I have no idea why they would do that. My previous assessment of Mirai Nikki still holds: this must have been a neat manga which got a sloppy adaptation into anime, but enough quality from the original story remains to keep me interested.
