Nightmare is out to conquer the entire galaxy. Kali is named the new commander of the Rag D' Mezegis (which was abandoned by Rail). She goes about holding entire planets hostage in order to force Kain and the Swordbreaker to face her.
Comments
I think one of my main problems with Lost Universe is how difficult it is to predict just how strong one organization/ship/person is. I had no idea Nightmare was strong enough to try to seize control of the entire galaxy! A certain degree of unpredictablility can be nice in order to make a plot original, but too much leaves me scratching my head and wondering whether or not I should be thrilled by the things characters do.
