It's not hard to guess what Hank has been up to. This was fun; surely somebody was going to be betrayed, but who? My guess was Hank by Ted Coleman. The identity of the "Boss" must have been the biggest surprise. Mother's ability to sense things without sight was neat, although what she did at the end seemed rather foolhardy to me and sort of cancelled out her sixth sense. I think that if this episode--and most episodes in general--had been "tightened up" with better lines, more skillful clue dropping, and less predictability in general, it would have been much more fun. Still, I'm sure I've mentioned this countless times but I love the gritty atmosphere of vice and sin in this show; even series like Noir or Phantom just can't match it. |
