Golgo 13 (TV) - 19: The Glass Fortress

Title:Golgo 13 (TV)
Episode:19: The Glass Fortress
Synopsis
Off the coast of Britain, Scottish nobleman Mr. Walton has constructed an amazing artificial island. It is encased in bullet-proof glass, and was designed by an accomplished marksman to be invulnerable to snipers. But why are such elaborate security precautions necessary for what is supposedly a charity drug rehabilitation clinic?
Comments
Wasn't it a strange coincidence that Mr. Doherty was present when his daughter's body washed ashore? I can't help feeling that the climax could have been 'tweaked' a bit to maximize the excitement and drama. I mean, instead of the bodyguard realizing how the shot was made and telling us, I wish it had been done in a way which was unexpected yet the average viewer could understand for his or herself. It seemed odd that the first visitor was familiar with the concept of deflecting shots off of waves (is such a thing really possible?). And, was Doherty willing to leave his wife alone and die for the sake of revenge? Still, I liked the way things worked out, with Duke inadvertantly doing a good deed. Walton was super evil and got what he deserved, which is always fun. For all my complaints, hearing the OP sequence to an all-too-rare new episode of Golgo 13 thrills me to the max.
