I think episode twelve was one of the three best ones so far. Unlike the last one this episode made perfect sense even the first time around, and had a special "coolness" to it as well. I read once that what's unique about Golgo 13 is that Duke himself is often a minor character while somebody else plays the main part, and I see what was meant here. I had thought that everybody Duke killed would have at least done something questionable (so that the reader/watcher wouldn't start to hate Golgo), but I never heard any justification for the shooting of Blue Tailor. But somehow it works, and Duke's employer comes off as the real villain. Maybe it's because Duke is so totally inscrutable that anger just doesn't "stick" to him. He never revels or boasts of his acomplishments as a sniper, for example. Lou is the real "hero" of this episode, and is at least partially successful when he uncovers Golgo's client--so, a satisfying conclusion ensues.
