This episode contains one noteworthy flaw of the whole story - the shoulder injury of Yorito during the battle between Takeshi and Matsuri. For the sake of story consistency please assume this injury never happened - you'll learn the reason later, the whole story might not work any more in this case; the minimum change would have been a stay at the hospital for Yorito as to treat his wound, and as such no more contact between him and Matsuri for a while, with heavy implications for the course of events at this point. (As for the effect of the katana on Yorito, it need not be the same as in a later episode where one additional event has happened that might be significant for the different result - the sword will be glowing red for a reason.) By the way, this injury will be completely forgotten in the next episode anyway. | |
