Continuing from Episode 11
- Rin : She explains that Rider's Noble Phantasm (Primary Weapon) is probably not something simple like a sword but something more powerful like a missle.
- Shinji : Runs away to the city to cast another Mana Drain spell, currently hiding out on top of a building.
- Shirou : Decides that Shinji cannot be let loose. He chases after him, but runs out of energy. He is very confused by Saber as she offers him her lap to rest his head on. He takes an elevator up a building to find Shinji but as he exits the elevator he doesn't notice Beserker is in the darkness watching him.
- Rider : Figures out that Saber's sword is completely useless against an Air attack so she summons her steed 'Bellerophon' and proceeds to peel off Saber's armor with a series of lightning fast attacks from the air. Saber points out that the steed is a Pegasus and only an evil master/servant has the ability to draw from mythology. The pegasus generates a fast moving attack that has so much force behind it that Saber cannot even hope to stop it. Rider travels to the upper atmosphere and readies an attack that is probably doing about Mach 1.
- Saber : Is getting hurt by the winged attacks and proceeds to unlock the mana in her sword (Just like in the Assassin episode). When it is done she is in possession of a Golden Sword. With the cry of Excalibur she swings the sword and it generates a gold laser beam which hits the horse destroying it, Rider, and Shinji's book at the same time. As Rider's mask comes off, we see she has white pupils. Saber collapses from the use of mana.

Forbin
First 10 minutes of looking for Shinji was very slow, the Saber lap business was ok though
Ok, Mythology 101: Bellerophon was a hero who used a Pegasus to challenge the gods. The Pegasus was actually the child of Medusa who appeared after her blood stained on the ground after Perseus cut her head off. So Rider was Medusa, explains why her eyes were covered. Heh, she would've slain her master.
Legends 101 : If you haven't figured out who Saber is by now, I think you need to read 'The Knights of the Round Table'. |
