| Yukari arrives at the atelier late, and briefs the others about how things went when she told her mother about everything that had happened up 'til now, including her agreement to serve as a model and her skipping cram school, because "I don't feel like living an incomplete life". She got slapped, and has left home. The others admire her courage and nobody suggests she return home--"You've fallen in with a bad crowd" George jokes. They are less enthusiastic about her decision to drop out of school and get a job. She asks to be allowed to stay at the atelier, but George is against it and offers to let her stay at his place. For the time being, she moves in at Arashi's apartment. He warns her that "George isn't the type of man who will make a woman happy... don't get too close to him". Miwako comes by in the morning, and asks if "Caroline" would like to work at the Happy Berry shop with her sister. She mentions that she showed Mikako the photos of Yukari dressed up for the party at the atelier. Back at school, Tokumori-kun notices that Yukari is absent, and hears from a friend of hers that she may have run off with some boy. Yukari goes to her interview with Mikako, who is oddly curious about how tall she is, her ancestry, and whether eating cake causes her any problems... |
