| The Pomegranate Bank is rocked by an explosion, thanks to the infamous "Pig Bombers" who have been terrorizing the city. The culprit is spotted fleeing in an orange "steam wagon" and the police invite private bounty hunters to join the chase. Sakura suggests that she and Natsuki take part, but Natsuki doesn't want to get her newly washed and waxed vehicle dirty. As luck would have it, they recognize the pig as he roars past them, and set off in pursuit. "One glimpse of her quarry", Sakura observes, transforms Natsuki from her usual lazy self into a "different animal". Sakura captures the bomber, but Natsuki's precious bike is smashed by an explosion. At first it seems that Natsuki has been blown to bits, which devastates Batanen, but he finds that she is okay. He notes that his "knees turn to mush around Natsuki" yet Sakura also excites him, despite her arrogant manner. While she and Natsuki are checking up on how the repairs to the bike are coming along, Sakura is insulted by "Ms. Fonne", a soon-to-be Police airbike pilot. She vows to capture the remaining Pig Bombers to teach Fonne a lesson. Natsuki is shocked to find that Sakura still lives in a shack, and insists that she spend the night at her place. Sakura senses a golden opportunity here... |
