And their faces are composed of a sort of soot which they emanate when feeling anger or other negative emotions. Each is given a human-like servant, a 'Doll', to care for them, clean up the soot they spread about their mansion, and serve as their face. Mistress Kate is given her Doll, who she names 'Emilico', and they get to know each other.

Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san	Watch	Amano Akari, a member of the occult research club, finds herself lost and alone in the woods at night while investigating rumors of a strange girl. She meets Sophie Twilight, who makes no secret of the fact that she is a vampire, and can prove it. But in this case at least, a vampire isn't quite as terrifying and threatening as Akari had expected.
