Rent | Kei Kurono is your typical high school student, selfish, young, and horny. One day while helping his old friend Kato to rescue a homeless person from the train, he and Kato are killed by the very train they helped the homeless person from. (Extemely bloody scene) Kei then finds himself in a strange room filled with people including Kato. In the center is a large black ball. No one seems to know why they are there though almost all agree that each of them was very near death before they appeared in here. All of a sudden a girl 'beams' (a very gross scene) into the room, she is naked but there is evidence that she had committed suicide in a bath tub. She wakes up and screams. All of a sudden the ball is playing a strange march and a bunch of weapons pop out of both sides. |

Watch | Kamio Misuzu is a female high school student who's missed many classes, so many that's she's thought of by her classmates as a delinquent. Yet she volunteers to do fieldwork on the local history of the town she lives in, and chooses to do the legend story of a miko named Uraha, a palace guard named Ryuuya, and the princess held captive at that palace named Kannabi no Mikoto (Kanna). At the same time, a drifter named Kunisaki Yukito-san comes to town with his small puppet, with which he can make it magically move. Drawn by fate, Yukito-san ends up assisting Misuzu with her fieldwork and the two fall in love, following a similar patter as Ryuuya and Kanna did many centuries before. |

Rent | Three years have passed since the bombing of Hiroshima and Gen is now a fourth-grader. Hiroshima is still a ruin, and Gen must scrounge for scrap metal to help keep himself and his remaining family fed, but at least commerce has returned to the land. As his mother gradually grows ill from radiation sickness, Gen and Ryuta befriend a group of orphans led by a tough-nosed older child and including a girl who still bears ugly burn scars from the day of the bomb. An old man suffering from depression is also drawn into the group as they come together to support each other and form a makeshift family. Reality is still harsh, however, as many orphans still die lonely deaths and the grim reminders of what happened linger everywhere. |

Three months ago Demon Lord Thor was defeated by a human hero, leading to jubilation among the humans. Now, a fierce competition is underway within the demon realm to choose a new Demon Lord. Tournament manager Vermilio the Red is appalled to find that the favorite to win is a human, known as Helck, and he has become highly popular within the demon realm. Helck possesses a 'somewhat unfathomable power' in Vermilio's words, and she assumes he is none other than the hero who defeated Thor. The truth, it turns out, is more complex. |
