Tsunehiro Sasaki is living what he describes as 'a shit life'. He has a terminal illness and has only two years to live. But in the year 1333 the head general of the clan, Takauji Ashikaga, betrays the family and turns on it. All of a sudden Tokiyuki finds himself an orphan in the care of a strange priest, Yorishige Suwa. "While Takauji becomes a hero by killing", Suwa says, "you will become one by living!" |

After he was orphaned as a child, Noor has run the family farm by himself and pursued his dream of becoming an adventurer. He came to the capital city of the Clays Kingdom to train, but found that no matter which Royal academy he enrolled in he had only one significant skill, parrying, and at least two are needed to become an official adventurer. He has honed his one skill to its maximum, and is as strong as a mule, but no additional skills have emerged. A guild manager took pity on him and informed him of an unofficial class of mediocre 'F-class' adventurers (E-class is supposed to be the lowest ranking one), and Noor is happy to take what he can get. One day he overhears a damsel in distress as Lady Linneburg and her bodyguards are attacked by a giant Minotaur, and puts his skill at parrying to use. |

But his new classmate Lily Amane (who he finds irresistably cute) has a secret, too: she's actually an angel, and therefore Masatora's arch-enemy. |
