Ryouta Satou was a salaryman who apparently worked himself to death. He finds himself transported to a dungeon in an alternate reality, where he meets the low ranking adventurer Emily Brown. His stats are even worse, except for one: when he manages to kill some sort of monster, even pathetically weak ones, he gets the best possible 'drops'.

(Three episodes watched):

By all rights, this should have been a pretty weak, generic isekai series that was not worth the time required to watch it. Another one with a silly twist on the basic adventure video game premise--like the one where someone got fantastically strong just by killing countless slimes. But I sort of enjoyed it, at least for now. Perhaps it was because except for Ryouta's unearned skill with drops, the main characters are pathetic, weak adventurers that are looked down on by others, which makes me sympathize with them. The jokes were definitely nothing to write home about. Judging from the OP sequence and illustration above, this might become a harem show. Whatever it is I liked about it, this show has passed the first test in that I'll be watching episode two.

In episode two Ryota and Emily meet the bunny girl shown above. Being a bunny girl she loves carrots, and Ryota gets a lot of them as drops. Or something like that. It had been a month since I watched episode one and whatever I liked about it seemed to be missing or diluted in episode two. How did Ryota kill the giant gorilla if he's just Level 1? It seems that in many isekai anime the protagonist starts off with a laughable handicap, but soon overcomes it and becomes super strong--which kind of defeats the whole purpose of assigning them a flaw in the first place. It seems that Ryota has acquired unlimited hit points, so he's basically unkillable (if I understood things correctly). This show has some spunk to it, but I think I may pass on it since we're already almost halfway through the season and I just finished watching all the first episodes. Actually, I watched episode three as well, but Ryota acquiring a .357 Magnum that can fire 'ice bullets' and Emily's hatred of insects were pretty nonsensical.
