If only this show had been a little funnier. I feel that it is making an honest and admirable attempt to parody a common genre, and the jokes are relatively rapid fire, but unfortunately they seem very scattershot, with a few hits among many misses. Perhaps it's one of those shows which has a funny premise but beyond that it isn't terribly amusing. Maybe your standards are different and you will find it satisfactory; it deserves a chance. Draluc is actually a very sadsack sort of vampire; he's better at playing video games than hunting people down and sucking their blood (wasn't there an anime with a similar premise a few years ago?). He's easy to kill, causing him to turn to a pile of sand, but quickly regenerates. He keeps a pet armadillo, for some reason. I don't see how much of a longterm plot could possibly come together, and this show needs one to compensate for the lack of LOL jokes. How many times can Draluc turn to sand before it becomes tiresome? Perhaps it already has. This is a show which I wish had been better, but I cannot honestly say that I look forward to watching additional episodes. Episode two was sort of fun, at least the arc about Ronaldo being in trouble with the publisher of his book. The government official paying a visit seemed so-so to me, and I didn't get the part about the vampire who can control plants(?). Draluc actually has kind of grown on me; I sort of pity him yet he's a fairly level-headed guy, not terribly evil but not quite good either. A small-time vampire that does mischief at most.
