Well, this Isekai show had a few unusual touches, like a girl who is seemingly entrapped forever in a dungeon (Noir gives no hint that he intends to find a way to rescue Olivia) and a powerful capability which can only be employed at great cost. And, while not hilarious it seemed funnier than the average anime comedy. Not surprisingly, this world functions much like a video game and the key to gaining abilities and leveling up is acquiring 'Life Points'. An alarm went off inside my head when Olivia explained the bizarre and kind of kinky system whereby Noir needs to enjoy visceral pleasures (at first, just getting kissed or hugging a girl) to gain the precious LPs. The notion of a girl in bondage, which only the protagonist knows about, could be seen as somewhat disturbing. But there are the thoughts that occur to viewers and the things the anime character actually does, and it seems that this show has the tact to make itself arousing without Noir doing anything shameful--at least not so far. And, again, it seemed funnier than most. But episode two quickly quashed my hopes. It became clear that this is basically a tits and ass show, one that relies primarily on those rather than plot or humor to attract viewers. When a new female character is introduced, the first image we see of her is of her chest, not her face, since her value obviously is a matter of the size of her breasts rather than anything else. The girls compete to be the most subservient to Noir, who assembles a harem ranging from Olivia to his little sister to numerous other girls. Noir isn't a pervert but these are not real people either. And the plot and humor are weak at best--just an excuse for more T&A. Well, at least this show has made it clear where it stands, and as a result I can quit watching without regret.
