Through 2 episodes... A well adapted version of the manga source material. This is what one expects from an anime adaptation -- not a change of story to satisfy anime writer's ego, but rather to take the black-and-white still images and bring them to life in color. That's why the fight at the gateport comes off better in than the manga because the audience is given an even greater feel for the scope of things and how dire the situation is. We'll see how much of the Magic World arc is slashed though.
