function () { var iterator = Prototype.K, args = $A(arguments); if (Object.isFunction(args.last())) { iterator = args.pop(); } var collections = this.concat(args).map($A); return this.map(function (value, index) {return iterator(collections.pluck(index));});}

Not sure how to reproduce it, it just happens now and again.

The form field itself?

function (iterator, context) { iterator = iterator.bind(context); var results = []; this.each(function (value, index) {if (iterator(value, index)) {results.push(value);}}); return results;}

That's what mine said just now. I noticed it before but I thought I was seeing things. LOL

Hey DD, did you start Da Capo yet?

Yes, the form field itself. (Firefox 3.0.1 running here.)

Now it seems i'm getting other people's search fields. It says Golgo 13 TV and I never typed that. Is it haunted or what because its getting more random.

Edit: it originated From 05:52pm to 06:43pm, Stretch … updated the notables in series Golgo 13 (TV).

That is where it came from but how did I get it on my computer?!?!

Ok, I've seen it myself now... it's getting filled in server side, so nothin' ever has to be on your computer. Just how that stuff is getting in there server side I'm a little unclear on. I've added some more diagnostics, so hopefully I'll soon have this sussed out. It is very strange though.

Well, I've got it partially figured out. I was caching a bit too much of the navbar (that is, I was including the last search result in the cached navbar). Ok, that much is (and has been) easily fixed.

What's more troubling is that there actually are searches on this site right now for random snippets of JavaScript. I don't know why... they might have been triggered by the initial bug that was inserting things into the search field... but that seems unlikely.

A number of those javascript snippets are from prototype.js... how those would get there, I'm not clear on.

Ahh... something is making requests to http://anime.mikomi.org/series/bunch-of-javascript which gets redirected over to the search...

It was indirectly related to some JavaScript from Amazon that I was including on the series pages. It was supposed to enhance links to their site, but clearly they've introduced a bug at some point recently. (It never produced this kind of traffic in the past.) [Edit: I've removed it for the time being.]
