A recent ANN article official states what I feared wouldn't happen for the next 5 years! Originally, I believed it would take longer (7-10+ years) considering the sheer masterful genius behind all that is Code Geass. The rumors are over now and the world can begin to breath again as-
The Greatest Story Ever Told
-continues to pave the way for unrivaled story telling.
I can only imagine that the fanbase is going wild over in Japan right about now. How I wish I can celebrate with them...
I truly believe that "true creative genius can never be hindered"...
P.S. - I hope that a small fraction of my excitement can be portrayed with this small original short tribute:
...The crowd grew silent as they watched the man in black calmly enter the room. They wondered if the years of turmoil and strife would finally come to an end. He turned towards the crowd with eyes as crimson as a burning nova with his Geass as piercing as the sharpest blade. Slowly he removed his mask and gave the crowd a sadistically sinister smile. A normal man recognizing this moment to be more important than any other, threw himself to his feet and yelled at the top of his lungs,
All hail the unconquerable ZERO!
The once quiet crowd is seen in an uproar over one entity. The man of the hour lets out a menacing laugh as he thinks back to his many thrilling exploits while allowing himself to become completely absorbed in the wild chanting of his name...

LOL. Very funny indeed Jan-chan. That was pretty funny actually.
The question now becomes can this 'convention center' encompass about, oh lets say, several million other fans scattered all over the globe?
I'm just one dot in the bigger picture my friend. Imagine if more people who loved Code Geass from the eastern side of the globe knew about this site...

The article is interesting enough for them to expand upon. Do you see how they made it from the same time, but a different era? I'm sure you know what I'm eluding to.
It's fine for whatever they decide for the actual story. As long as certain characters are referenced or make a cameo, it'll be cool. It's already a done deal with C.C. and the 'mysterious man' mentioned already.
The only thing we have to deal with now is time...

Umm
Do you see how they made it from the same time, but a different era
You mean Same Place , Different Era (AKA Time).
Set in Edo period in Japan's past.

I would be happy, but that's not what I'm getting at. I'm surprised you didn't get this one, but it doesn't matter anyway.

That's not funny.
Why do you think I even quoted the source link? I could have just used it as a random image I found on Google or something and used it as my own. I think we promote ANN too much as it is anyway so what do I care. Their loss. It's not like anyone else is going to keep us inform about TGSET. That stunt doesn't hurt me in the slightest.
That image can stay there just to show how stupid all this rights business really is.
Edit: There was a post that was removed before I could read it, but I see the image is back up. If ANN removes it again, then it's all on them. All this drama over a stupid picture...

Just some fun stuff around the net.
A recent poll (one of many) with the top ten 10 male anime characters for this decade (2000-2010) has Lelouch right at the top of the list. Of course, that one is a no brainer. Just wondering though, didn't the decade end about a month ago? 2000-2009 is ten years.
A matching poll for the females has C.C. at number 6. I disagree for three reasons:
1. Kallen isn't on the top ten
2. C.C. should be much higher in rank
3. The list itself is seriously flawed and isn't very objective
If you have some spare time and want a good laugh, I suggest reading the comments for the female list. I was rolling while reading some of them (LOL). The ones about Haruhi were to die for. Apparently, there is a whole bunch of blasphemies in that list. I was laughing so hard...

Wow what idiot made that list? Haha
Sheryl Nome shouldn't even be on it.
And No Motoko? She's top dog if anyone above Cagali.
Lol I did like Sakura was there, I haven't seen Sakura Wars in a long time.
And no I did not like the Saber Bear outfit.

I agree with the males selected. But they missed a few Vampire Knight, Death Note, Host club, Inuyasha. Just to name a few. But every single one keeps us all going strong.

@Xenoknight in 3810 wrote: [broken image from AN] I pulled the image down to this server and updated Xenoknight's post to point at it. I really would like to get image hosting for you all. Though in the interim, maybe I'll just make it automatically locally host any remote linked images. (Believe it or not, that's really easy, where as the former is a bunch of work.)

Yeah, I know, but that's an ugly hack. I'd like to add something better suited to the purpose. Probably something along the lines of a gallery tied to every series and wiki page. (At the least, might throw in forum topics and/or posts as well, also possibly reviewer profiles.)
