I've always come to this site to check on new animes and to see if the ones i've found were any good. This site has never failed me and i have directed an army of people(lol)towards this site for all thier referencing needs. The perfect example i can give of this site is the search by category link. I've seen by share of animes but after clicking the dating-sim spinoff link, i found that 90% of the entire list was high-quality stuff! i saw some already but the keywords were like music to my ears: romance, romantic comedy, comedy, ecchi, harem, drama, and coming of age. Nearly the entire list was watchable and will be enjoyable!!! Thank you all for keeping this site the way it is!!!!

Tx for the positive feedback.

There are about 1/2 dozen of us who have been trying to keep the database and links up to date, and collectively, we seem to have most of the bases covered.

Feel free to join in and help us keep the information and reviews up to date.

Ditto on the feedback. I'll go one step further and thank Rebecca for not only creating this site (which I've been using and contributing to for years), but for keeping the site up and running for us fans. ^_^

Perhaps the fact that we're so few contributors leads to a selection of animes covered here (compared to larger sites whose bunch contributors can cover each and every new anime)?

It seems to me that practically every new anime that comes along will have a page thanks to Jan-chan, even if none of us have reviewed it.

I have observed this for a while as well, and I am a bit skeptical as for whether this might increase the number of "dummy" entries in the future.

Anime is anime. Even a 'dummy' entry (such as Bus Gamer) has value ... even if the series in question only had three episodes fansubbed before being dropped and that fact that we have completely ignored offering a review. Maybe one of us should make a quick two or three sentence review entry warning everyone about such 'doggy' series.

My only goal is to prevent duplicate series entries from being posted and trying to standardize how the series are typed up.

And I don't think that we have any problems updating and cleaning up any series that another sempai 'owns'.

In any event, it works ....
