<i>More cute than funny</i>. This signature episode for the glasses girl gave me a lot of [series:1246] vibes, with these childhood friends being treated as a married couple by everyone and even aggressively being paired off by Manami's grandfather <small>(whose weird jokes were a bit over the top)</small>. Most notably, almost no Kirino in this episode, so it had to be good almost automatically. And now that we have three interesting girls in this show <small>(Saori, Ayase, Manami)</small>, Kirino starts longing for her brother... not that she would admit these feelings to even herself.
