Synopsis
Kuze's group has shot down the airplane that sent the jamming signal but is attacked by two Jigabachi helicopters from the JSDF when Kusanagi has finally found them. Batou's group is being hunted by a military special command and trying to hide with the nuclear material. The Tachikomas have located an American submarine that is about to attack Dejima; Aramaki tries to inform Kayabuki about this fact.

[2007-09-02, Devil Doll: 9/10] Pure suspense - all players are active on their respective layers. The "Lord of the Rings" feeling is quite strong. Up to this point Gouda's plan was a series of events. Now three individual battles are fought: Kuze may still be able to make the refugees surrender, Batou and Ishikawa may still be able to hand over the plutonium to the inspectors, and Kayabuki may still be able to convince the American government to stay still now that the submarine has been spotted. The first two battles appear to be lost for Gouda but the last one will be decisive for the final outcome.
