Synopsis
After Kuze's boat has been sunk, the JSDF imposes martial law on Fukuoka where Section 9 is sent to disarm a nuclear bomb and tries to find evidence that the parliament's intelligence unit is involved in this incident. Batou worries about Kusanagi's condition (as the major appears distracted and more interested in Kuze's plans than in their current operation), and he has a long conversation with Gouda.

[2007-09-02, Devil Doll: 8/10] Lots of talk, no action. Not a highlight of this series but a necessary quiet point right before the final confrontation. Is there still a chance to prevent the crisis from escalating into a civil war? This story has entered the final stage.
