Synopsis
Koizumi Taiko (a little girl who we first met in episode four, as she acted as a decoy to trick Sunabouzu during his duel with Oonuma Jirou) now saves his life during a gunfight with desert bandits. Sunabouzu is ungrateful, and tells her to go away, but she swears she will continue following him until he trains her to become "The baddest beauty in the Great Kantou Desert". At Water Distribution Center #30, Koizumi shows Sunabouzu a photo of her sexy mother, who she should grow up to look like. As a result, Kanta agrees to give her a test--he sends her to the handyman job assignment booth to be given some mundane tasks. She protests, but Sunabouzu reminds her that she said she'd do whatever he asked, and argues that "handymen are handymen because they do anything", and their experience with countless tasks is what's needed to make instantaneous life-or-death decisions...

A clever touch is the differing views of Sunabouzu and Koizumi. She admires tough men who work hard and take risks to provide for their women, whereas the man she most idolizes in fact envies the local ladykiller and sees nothing wrong with living off the money Koizumi is earning. Indeed, he hopes to raise her as his "ideal woman". Needless to say, it doesn't exactly work out that way...
