Synopsis
The Three Sisters Detective Agency is going international! Having crashlanded in Japan, Nenene's editor, Mr. Lee, asks Michelle, Maggie and Anita to continue serving as her bodyguards, and sets them up in a run-down apartment across the street from hers. However, the fact that the place is completely vacant, without anything at all to read (and they've already spent their money) is intolerable and they invite themselves over to Nenene's place. Unfortunately, their eccentric personalities rub her the wrong way, and she soon throws them out...

The sisters' not particularly effective efforts to flatter Nenene into letting them stay with her are hilarious--you don't see this sort of deadpan comedy often. I guess you could call this a character development episode, as nothing dangerous happens--I'm not complaining! I like the way the OP sequence of each episode contains a sort of replay of critical scenes from the last one in fast-forward mode to bring you up to speed. Apparently the premium non-bootleg DVDs have a different opening sequence.
